City of Maricopa Rural Transit Demand Study

In October, 2018, the Maricopa Association of Governments completed the City of Maricopa Rural Transit Demand Study. The purpose of the project was to analyze both internal transit demand and intercity demand between the City of Maricopa, the Phoenix Metropolitan area and neighboring Pinal County communities to assist the City of Maricopa in evaluating a transition from demand response to fixed transit service. This study was funded in partnership with the Federal Transit Administration and Arizona Department of Transportation as part of the 5311 program.
